OTHER WAYS TO USE YOUR LICENSE
There are more opportunities to use your license outside of the pre-hospital setting. Having an EMT license gives you the skills that other jobs recognize as essential. Some common ones include:
ER Technician
Patient Care Technician
IFT
Plasma Donation Centers
And more!
Every job is has different requirements so this list is not guaranteed, but these are common jobs that accept EMT licenses. Being an EMT doesn't mean your only place of work as to be with 911 so if your interests are outside of ambulance work, there is a place for you!
